Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.83%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.83%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 0.55% or 5.4 points to trade at 987.2 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 0.39% or 0.8 points to end at 205.5 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 0.03% or 0.1 points to 194.5 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 3.80% or 92.0 points to trade at 2327.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 3.31% or 3.10 points to end at 90.68 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 2.78% or 15.8 points to 552.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 111 to 24 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.12% or 0.87 to $40.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.08% or 0.90 to hit $42.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.15 to trade at $1906.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.46% to 6.3667, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4433.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.55% at 93.882.
